INTRAX feels at home in the entire suspension spectrum. At INTRAX we have a solution for almost any vehicle with shocks. We make shocks for Race- Road- Rally- Cross- Cars. Also for –Motorcycles –Quads – Side Cars and even –Trucks.
Believe it or not but we even make Shocks for Helicopters and Horse Coaches. The Lay Out of all shocks is determined at the moment of order. In that way INTRAX can always guarantee the latest state of technology.
That means that all INTRAX shocks are custom made and not pre-produced. All variables and customer’s wishes are taken care of at the moment of order. Will the Shocks mainly be used on the Road? Will a casual Track day be part of the plan? Or will it be the other way round meaning only Track days with a comfy ride to and from the circuit?
Another issue of importance is the lowering of the car. In case of extreme lowering we can decide to shorten the body and/or stroke or we adapt the Damping and/or Springs.
We also take a look at the level of modification of the car. Like wider and/or bigger wheels. Wishes for “Extreme Comfort” or Stiffness can and will also be honoured.
Our adjustable Suspension like “RSA” and “HDA” can be set up in such a way that both; A comfy “boulevard-cruise” can be combined with a “Record-breaking-lap”. A comfy ride to the shopping mall is also part of the package.
All that with one Adjustment Range in one set of INTRAX Suspension. “Your wish is our command”. Literally everything can be made to “fit” your needs. Damping / Springs / Length / Stroke / Lay out / Colour…..anything.

STRUTS are an essential part in the McPherson front wheel- steering-construction.
STRUTS have to provide linear guiding and turning movement at the same time.
STRUTS determine installation stiffness as well as sensitivity almost up to 100%.
Intrax recently introduced a new strut concept with a revolutionary combination of these features;
Heart of this strut-concept is an advanced 45mm hard chromed sliding tube.
Incorporated is a “floating base bearing” providing an unbeatable stiffness due to maximum overlap possible. This feature also allows sensitive initial movement.
40mm piston diameter provides low stick-slip as well as low-weigth.
This combined with specially developed ultra-thin Bearings results in a maximum damper-diameter of 52mm still allowing the use of light-weight racing-line springs with 60mm internal diameter.
These 45mm struts can be combined with steel outer tubes and also with ligth-weight aluminium tubes.
These tubes are made from aircraft spec “7075” aluminium and are available in many beautifull colours.
After years of development Intrax did it. They developed a unique way to drastically reduce unwanted roll (lateral and longitudinal). Your car will have the comfort and all the other benefits of driving with “soft” springs like extra grip and traction, until you take a corne or need to brake then ARC® will control ride height with the feel of a sport/race/rally setup.
While driving over a curb, through a putt hole or over jumps the suspension will absorb them like driving with soft springs. At the same time ARC® will make sure that your suspension won’t during these conditions.
So for the first time you can have the benefits of a soft spring set up without the disadvantages of too much body roll and/or collapsing suspension in putt holes, jumps, curbs.
The shock absorber set can be equipped with the “Black Titan” coating, which will be applied on the guidance- and piston rod. Black Titan is an development from military aircraft industry. Their engines must perform under the toughest conditions, they must function from +40°C up to -30°C.
After they fitted their engines with Black Titan, the service interval was increased by almost 100%. Intrax decided that what is good for their airplane engines must be good for our shock absorbers. The Black Titan coating, which will be applied on the guidance- and piston rod, cannot rust and is extreme hard and smooth. The friction is lowered with these piston rods, reducing oil temperatures, improving traction and extending life time under the severest conditions.
